Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WellCats logo on a pink background

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Also known as “Pinktober”, this annual observance is held to raise awareness, educate, and support individuals affected by breast cancer. It's also a call out to everyone to keep an eye on the well-being of the significant women in their lives by encouraging routine screening & preventive care.

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in support of the survivors in our community, join us by wearing pink every Wednesday in October.

Pink Photo at the Arch

Meet us at the Trauth-Huffman Hall Arch on October 18 at 2:30 p.m. for a group photo in pink! You'll receive a pink awareness leaf with a fact about breast cancer that you can post in your office or share with others.

This is a great opportunity to get some extra steps in for the Walktober challenge. Check this list of walking time between buildings to see how many minutes of activity you'll get!
